Monnie Juanita House Price, age 87, of Columbus, MS, passed away January 25, 2017 , at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be Friday, January 27, 2017 , at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Gardner officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Memorial Gardens of Columbus. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Memorial Funeral Home. Gunter & Peel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Price was born December 30, 1929, in Hamilton, MS, to the late Hendrix C. and Colie Ross House. She lived most of her life in Columbus and was a member of St. Stephen United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Leo Price, sister, Louise House Cannon, brothers, Leonard and Charles House, and beloved great grandson, Jonathan Cody Williams.

Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Price Williams of Columbus, MS, sister, Margie Fuqua and her husband Roy of Columbus, MS, granddaughter, M. C. Walden, and great grandchildren, Olivia Walden, Gary Walden, and Zack
O'Callahan.

Pallbearers will be Shane Andrews, Spence Andrews, Allen Gorman, Mark Gorman, Gary Walden, and Zack O'Callahan.
