Lowrey Smith Stephenson, age 81 died Thursday, February 09, 2017 at Shepherd's Cove Hospice in Albertville AL. Services will be held Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel; burial will follow at Memorial Gardens of Columbus. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Gunter & Peel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Stephenson was born on Monday, May 13, 1935 in Caledonia, MS to the late Auston E. and Mattie Smith Stephenson. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in the Korean Conflict. He was a retired steel fabricator with Ellis Steel Company.
