Ruth Lucille Bolin

Ruth Lucille Pennington Bolin, age 93, of Columbus, MS, passed away February 13, 2017, at Windsor Place. Funeral services will be Thursday, February 16, 2017, at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clark Richardson officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Furnace Hill Cemetery in Vernon, AL. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until the time of the service.
Mrs. Bolin was born October 23, 1923, in Vernon, AL, to the late Irene Butler Pennington. She attended Shaeffer's Chapel United Methodist Church. Mrs. Bolin was also preceded in death by her husband, James K. Bolin, Sr., sons, Donald Eads and Glenn Roy Franklin, grandchildren, Joseph Wilson and Prentis Wilson, brother, Clarence Pennington, and son-in-law, Hubert Gilmore.
Survivors include her daughters, Kay Watts of Columbus, MS, Shirley Gilmore of Columbus, MS, Yvonne Hearn and her husband Matt of Caledonia, MS, and Linda Bolin of Steens, MS, sons, Troy Wilson of Vernon, AL, Richard Wilson of Columbus, MS, Harold Bolin of Hamilton, MS, and James K. Bolin, Jr. of West Point, MS, grandchildren, Michael Watts, Lance Hearn and his wife Brittney, Amber Hearn, Joni Bradford, Julie Phelps, Gail McDill, Roy Franklin, Jr., Rachel Edgeworth, Walter Franklin, Victoria Franklin, Laura Franklin, Richard Wilson, Jr., Chasity Wilson, Auburn Turner, and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Michael Watts, Lance Hearn, Matt Hearn, Richard Wilson, Sr., Richard Wilson, Jr., and Dustin McDill.
