William Earl "Bill" Brett age 83 died Thursday, March 02, 2017 at North Mississippi Medical Center-Tupelo. Graveside services with U.S. Army Honors will be held Saturday, March 04, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Dr. Shawn Parker officiating.
Bill was born on Sunday, October 01, 1933 in West Point, MS to the late Al and Essie Robinson Brett. He was a retired U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer, having served in the Korean Conflict and Viet Nam War. After serving his country he was a port captain in Nigeria, then worked as a tug boat captain. He was of the Presbyterian faith. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Elise Unger, Carolyn Humble, Mable Lollar, and Jack Brett.
