Roxanne Marie Peeks

Roxanne " Sandy" Marie DeSoto Peeks, age 60, died Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle. Gunter & Peel Funeral Home will be in charge of her arrangements. A  Celebration of Life/memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 18, 2017 at 12 Noon at Columbus Christian Center with Rev. Kenny Gardner officiating.

The daughter of the late Ernest F. and Carolyn Taylor DeSoto, Mrs. Peeks was born September 25, 1956 in Gary, IN. She was employed as a waitress at The Huddle House and Pete’s. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother Ernest F. DeSoto, Jr.

She is survived by her husband Billy Ray Peeks of Steens, her sons Franklin Taylor DeSoto of Columbus, Gary Scott Peeks of Steens and Michael Johnson of Batesville and her daughters Lisa Pannell and April Taylor, both of Steens. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
