Oneta Nichols
December 22, 1928 — April 27, 2017
Mrs. Nichols was born December 22, 1928, in Monroe County, MS, to the late William Grant and Clara Lockhart Hall. She and her husband, the late Archie Wallace Nichols, owned and operated Nichols Grocery in Crawford, MS, until their retirement in 1987. Mrs. Nichols was a member of Grace Baptist Church. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Edna Edwards and Marie Stanley.
Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Kelly and her husband Paul of Winona, MS, sisters, Joyce Gilbert of Columbus, MS, and Helen Fulp of Cordova, TN, grandson, Jason Kelly of Mobile, AL, and great grandson, Logan Kelly of Flowood, MS.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
