Robert D. Guin, age 78, died Friday, December 16, 2016 in Brownsburg, IN. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory. Graveside services will be Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Steve Lammons officiating.
Born January 25, 1938 in Columbus, he was the son of the late Robert L. and Nettie Mae Brown Guin. He owned and operated West Memphis Nursery in West Memphis, AR and loved working with plants and trees. He also operated a landscaping business and invented the Guin Tree feeder. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son Tommy Guin.
Mr. Guin is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law Doris Guin Green and Jeffrey of Brownsburg, IN and Terrie Guin Kennedy and Jeffrey of English, IN, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
