Sandra touched the hearts of many in a special way with her wit and loving nature. She served Columbus for over 40 years as a registered nurse in various aspects. She worked for Birney Ellis, Columbus Hospital, BMH-GT, NMMC, Vineyard Court Nursing Home,

Bryan Foods, and Trinity Healthcare Center. Her legacy also includes time spent with various agencies, namely the Red Cross, VFW, Mississippi Nursing Association, and, and Police Wives Club. Sandra loved the outdoors and the sunshine. Boating, fishing, “fiddling” with her flowers, and antiquing were her passions outside of her family and work. She loved going to different beaches for fun and the Mississippi Gulf Coast for it’s entertaining “cha ching”
