ALICE M. GIRARD

Alice M. Girard age 87, died Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at FL Hospital Memorial Medical Center in Daytona Beach FL. Services will be held Tuesday, June 06, 2017 at   2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Shawn Parker officiating,  burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Girard was born on Saturday, September 28, 1929 in Grenville, SD to the late     Francis Xavier and Anna Lachnit Pionk. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church where she was involved in assembling braille Bibles for the blind.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lt. Col. Roy J. Girard, they traveled the world over during their time together.
