Julia Frances Wells

at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be Sunday, July 9,
2017, at 1:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Earl McAnally
officiating. Gunter & Peel Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of
arrangements.
Mrs. Wells was born May 15, 1930, in Columbus, MS, to the late Clayton
Henry and Frances Louise Dunn Richardson. She was a member of First Baptist
Church of Orlando, FL, where she sang in the choir for many years. Mrs.
Wells attended Fairview Baptist Church while living in Columbus and enjoyed
singing for various events. She was a resident of Trinity Retirement
Community.
Survivors include her sons, John Milton Newton of Ormond Beach, FL,
Richard Dunn Newton of Columbus, MS, and Steven Francis Newton of
Hayesville, NC, brother, Clayton Richardson, Jr., of Starkville, MS, sister,
Murlene Anderson of Superior, MT, and grandchildren, Myles Newton, Conor
Newton, and Patrick Newton, all of Ormond Beach, FL.
