July 11, 2017 , at Aurora Health & Rehab. Funeral services will be Friday ,
July, 14, 2017 , at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack
Taylor officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Adaton United
Methodist Church Cemetery in Oktibbeha County, MS. Visitation will be from
12:00 PM until the time of the service. Gunter & Peel Funeral Home is in
charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Suggs was born June 27, 1935, in Starkville, MS, to the late
Emmett and Evelyn Johnson Stafford. She was a graduate of Starkville High
School. Mrs. Suggs worked for a number of years at the Gilmer Inn of
Columbus. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her
husband, Willie Jack Suggs, Sr.
Survivors include her sons, Willie Jack Suggs, Jr. of Columbus, MS, and
Johnny Suggs of Columbus, MS, brothers, Bobby Stafford of Steens, MS, and
Donald Stafford of Vardaman, MS, grandchildren, Willie Jack Suggs, III,
Angela Dawn Foster, Marsha Kay Beasley, Sandra Lynn Prowell, and Johnny
Suggs, Jr., and numerous great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family members.
