Betty Jo Cantrell
July 26, 1936 — August 4, 2017
Mrs. Cantrell was born July 26, 1936, in Lamar County, AL, to the late Hardy and Dessie Mae Cooper Stockman. She was a member of Kolola Springs Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cantrell was preceded in death by her son, Johnny Wayne Cantrell.
Survivors include her husband, Wiley B. Cantrell of Caledonia, MS, sons, William Bryan Cantrell of Vernon, AL, and Charlie Ray Cantrell of Caledonia, MS, daughter, Carolyn Mae Hollis and her husband Mike of Caledonia, MS, grandchildren, Samantha Ann Cantrell, James Bryant Cantrell, Traci Hassell, Staci Cantrell, Christy Batts, and Ashley Hollingsworth, 17 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Cantrell, Michael Hollis, James Cantrell, Larry Cantrell, Jacob Hollingsworth, and Mitch Cantrell. Honorary pallbeaers will be her two special nieces.
