Lois Mary Stephenson

Lois Mary Stephenson, age 91, died Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Shepherd's Cove in Albertville AL. Services will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Harding officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens of Columbus. Visitation will be held at Memorial Funeral Home from 1:00 PM til 2:00 PM. Gunter & Peel Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Stephenson was born on Monday, February 22, 1926 in Sulligent, AL to the late Benson and Bessie Mae McGee Frye. She was a member of Kolola Springs Baptist Church and was a retired employee of United Technologies. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lowery Smith Stephenson, her sons, Wilson Welch, Jr. and James Larry Welch, her sisters Lucille Slaughter and Pat Cox, and her brothers, Denver Frye, Coy Frye, and Roy Frye.
