Charles Arthur Hudson age 92, died Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at his residence in Columbus. Services will be held Friday, September 15, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joel Hudson and Rev. Roy Hawkins officiating, burial with U.S. Army Honors will follow at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Friday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
Mr Hudson was born on Sunday, August 30, 1925 in Calhoun City, MS to the late Arthur and Allie Patterson Hudson. He was a member and Deacon at Calvary Baptist Church, and was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in the 353 Infantry Regiment during WWII. Mr. Hudson was retired from United Technologies after 35 years as a tool & die maker and manufacturing engineer. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Roy Hudson, his sister , Opal Easley, and his grandson, Charlie Hudson.
