LARRY LANGFORD
Larry Wayne Langford age 68, died Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Windsor Place Nursing and Rehab in Columbus. Services will be held Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home College St. Chapel with Dr. Shawn Parker officiating, burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Mr. Langford was born on Wednesday, January 19, 1949 in Baton Rouge, LA to the late Jack and Annie Ruth Hunsucker Langford, Sr. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Columbus, and a 1967 graduate of Lee High School. In 1971 he graduated from Mississippi State University and remained an avid Bulldog fan. From his childhood until retirement he worked in the family business, Langford Furniture Company, and was a courier for Cadence Bank. He served in the Mississippi National Guard and was a member of the American Legion and the Rotary Club.
