MARLYS ETHEL HATTON

Marlys E. Hatton age 83 died Tuesday, January 09, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Columbus. Services will be held Friday, January 12, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Gunter Peel 2 nd Ave. North Chapel with Dr. Shawn Parker and Chaplain Clark Richardson officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from noon until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hatton was born on Thursday, May 10, 1934 in Buckingham, IA to the late Raymond James and Mayme Amelia Beatty Thomas. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Columbus and a retired employee of Columbus Air Force Base. She was a resident of Windsor Nursing & Rehab Center. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her children, Randy Ray Hatton, Connie Jean Hefner, her sisters Mabel Josephine Thomas and  Maxine Evelyn Norris and brothers Marion Earl Thomas and Mervin Edwin Thomas
