Allie Faye Brown Wood, age 86, of Columbus, MS, passed away February 4, 2018, at her residence. A private family graveside memorial service will be held at Egger Cemetery in Caledonia, MS. Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory, College St. location, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Wood was born August 7, 1931, in Caledonia, MS, to the late Archie Leon and Wilma Mae Coleman Brown. She was a graduate of Caledonia High School and was a Primitive Baptist. Mrs. Wood worked for many years with her late husband, William M. "Bill" Wood as a bookkeeper at Wood Pest Control.
Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia Ferguson and her husband James of Columbus, MS, grandchildren, Chris Ferguson of Ethelsville, AL, and Chad Ferguson of Vance, AL, great granddaughter, Marandia Ferguson of Columbus, MS, and numerous great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
