William Ray Boothroyd

William Ray Boothroyd, age 62, of Caledonia, MS, passed away February
11, 2018, at his mother's residence in Hattiesburg, MS. Funeral services
will be Friday, February 16, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Memorial Gunter Peel Chapel
2nd Ave. location. Visitation will be from 12:30 PM until the time of the
service.
Mr. Boothroyd was born October 24, 1955, in Montgomery, AL, to the late
William Peter Boothroyd and Ester Powell of Hattiesburg, MS. He was a
veteran of the United States Air Force. Mr. Boothroyd worked for the U. S.
Postal Service, Howard Industries, and retired from Omnova as a color
technician. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son,
Kenson Neal Boothroyd.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his son, William George
Conan of Memphis, TN, daughters, Ascia Boothroyd of Temecula, CA, and
Heather Cherie O'Neal of Summerfield, IL, brothers, Bobby Boothroyd of
Madison, MS, George Owen Boothroyd of Raleigh, NC, and Kenneth Merrill of
Hattiesburg, MS, sisters, Linda Boothroyd Richards of Columbus, MS, Mison
Wetzel of Jackson, MS, and Mary Stevens of Hattiesburg, MS, granddaughter,
Teagan O'Neal, and numerous nieces and nephews.
