Jason Nowell

Jason Mitchell Nowell, 57, passed away February 15, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Clarkson Baptist Church with Bro. Tim Hudson and Bro. Chris Wells officiating.

Mr. Nowell was born on Monday, January 30, 1961 in Starkville, MS to the late Jasper and Louise Evans Nowell. He was a member of Clarkson Baptist Church and worked for many years as a truck driver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmie Nowell; sisters, Judy Atkinson, Christine Nowell and Eveline Nowell.

Survivors include his wife, Lou Anna Nowell of Mathiston, MS; sons, Robert Mitchell Nowell (Jamie) of Mathiston, MS and Michael Lee Nowell of Caledonia, MS; sisters, Janice Williamson (Rayford) of Philadelphia, MS and Joyce Ware (John) of Sturgis, MS; brother, James E. Nowell of Kosciusko, MS; and grandchildren, James Martis Flowers, Elizabeth Michelle Nowell, Mathew Lee Nowell, and Madison Jade Coscia.
