ROLLIN SLOAN

Rollin Williams Sloan died February 23, 2018 in Columbus, Mississippi. He was born in Pontotoc, Mississippi on January 5, 1981 and lived in Moultrie, GA and Johnson, SC prior to moving back to Pontotoc.

He graduated from South Pontotoc High School where he played football and basketball. After graduation, he lived in the Columbus area.

He always wanted to farm and he worked on farms around Columbus most of his adult life. He loved working in the natural world. Most of all, however, he loved his children.

Rollin is survived by two sons, Lucas and Lawson Sloan and his ex-wife, Spring Sloan, of New Hope, MS; his parents, Camille and Crofton Sloan, of Tupelo MS; his brothers Shipman Sloan (Anna Kathryn), Spencer Sloan, Crofton Sloan III and Claude Clayton III (Roxie) all of Tupelo MS, and Frances Clayton of New York City. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rebecca Williams.

A memorial service will be held Monday February 26, 2018 AT 11:00 A.M. at Memorial Gunter Peel 2 nd Ave N. Chapel with Bro. Jason Pennington officiating.
