Mr. Britt was born August 11, 1951, in Macon, MS, to the late James Dalton and Jean Holcombe Britt, Sr. He worked as the Emergency Management Coordinator for Noxubee County and Oktibbeha County for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Emily S. Britt of Starkville, MS, sons, Dusty Sims and his wife Brandy of Greensboro, AL, and Brandon Sims and his wife Lindsey of Greensboro, AL, brother, Jerry Britt of Macon, MS, sisters, Karen Britt of Kilmichael, MS, and Gayle Brown of Macon, MS, and 7 grandchildren.
