CHESTER COX

William Chester Cox, age 91, died Saturday, April 07 , 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Columbus. A Mass of Resurrection will be held Tuesday, April 10 , 2018 at 11:00 AM at Annunciation Catholic Church with Father Jeffery Waldrep officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 10 , 2018 from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM at the church. Burial with U.S. Army Honors will follow Tuesday at 3:00 PM at St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery near Saltillo, MS.

Mr. Cox was born on March 23 , 1927 in Jericho, MS to the late William Leslie and Sula Sample Cox.  He was a graduate of both Ole Miss and Mississippi State University and was a band director retiring from S. D. Lee High School. He was a Communicant of Annunciation Catholic Church
