ROBERT REED
Robert William Reed, age 49, of Columbus, MS, passed away April 17, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. A graveside interment will be held at a later date at Jackson County Memorial Gardens in Pascagoula, MS. Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory College St. location is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Reed was born February 23, 1969, in Augusta, GA, to his loving father, Robert G. Reed of Columbus, MS, and the late Waldtraud I. Reed. He was a graduate of Pascagoula High School and played trumpet in the marching and traveling band. He had a long time career in the food service industry ending at Longhorn Steak House in Columbus, MS. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Beate Eger. He was a wonderful son, brother, and friend.
In addition to his loving father, survivors include his step mom, Linda A. Reed of Columbus, MS, and brothers, Ronald G. Thomas and Thomas G. Reed.
