Clinton LaFayette Franklin III, 62, died April 22, 2018, in Houston, TX. Graveside memorial services will be held Sunday May 6, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Friendship Cemetery with Father Jeffrey Waldrep officiating.
Mr. Franklin was born February 2, 1956, in Columbus, MS, to the late Clinton and Mary Tucker Franklin. He served honorably in the US Army, stationed in Germany. He received his undergraduate and J.D. degrees from the University of Mississippi and has lived in Houston, TX
for the last 31 years where he practiced law.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Ute Franklin; son, Clinton LaFayette Franklin IV; daughter, Anja Franklin; siblings, Maritucker and husband Tom Hanemann, John Franklin, Nila and husband George Schwab; and his step-mother, the Honorable Judge Beverley Franklin.
