James C. Gregory

James C. Gregory Sr. age 91, died Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Columbus. Services will be held Friday, May 25, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Memorial Gunter Peel 2nd Ave N. Chapel with Brett Burleson officiating. Burial, with U.S. Military Honors, will follow at Memorial Gardens of Columbus. Visitation will be held Thursday May 24, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home,  2nd Ave N. location.

Mr. Gregory was born on Sunday, October 10, 1926 in Jackson, Tennessee to the late Louis and Loretta Rose Gregory. He was a member of First Baptist Church and attended Fairview Baptist Church. He was a retired serviceman for Mississippi Valley Gas/Atmos Energy after 31 years of service. Mr. Gregory was also a WWII, Army Air Corp. Veteran. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Willie Mae Gregory, and his sisters Pearl Givens, and Iva Crabtree.
