MARY FRANCES BROWN

Mary Frances Aldridge Brown, age 90, of Caledonia, MS, passed away May
25, 2018, at her residence.  Funeral services will be Sunday, May 27, 2018 ,
at 2:00 PM at New Salem Baptist Church, 7086 Wolf Road with Bro. Billy
Abrams officiating.  The interment will immediately follow at Woodlawn
Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 12:30 PM until the time of the service.
Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory College St. location is in
charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Brown was a member of New Salem Baptist Church, she was born on
Tuesday, May 1, 1928, to the late Clyde Aldridge and Hattie Sue Richards
Aldridge.  Most of her forty seven years as a nurse, Mary Frances worked as
a surgical technician at Doster Hospital, Lowndes General Hospital, and
Baptist Memorial Hospital.  In addition to her parents, Mary Frances was
preceded in death by her aunt and uncle, Myrtis Richards Gibson and Metro
Richards, and her cousins, Chandler Richards, Neal "Cooter" Richards,
Jennings Richards, and Zelona Richards Maturna.
Mary Frances is survived by her daughters, Missie Gary (Emery) of
Amory, MS, and Melanie Abrams (Steve) of Caledonia, MS, grandson, Richard
White of Caledonia, MS, brother, Tony Aldridge (Marylin) of Eads, TN,
nieces, Chantele Aldridge, cousins, Marylin Jo Erwin, Brenda Dodson, Cinda
Parra Landrum, Dale Parra, and Sheila Fortner.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Vaughn, Donald Ming, Mike Aldridge, B. A.
"Sonny" Atkins, Doug Holliman, Dale Parra, Bruce Erwin, and John Dodson.
