Robert Liddell Dunlap, age 80, of Caledonia, MS, passed away June 5, 2018, at his residence. A memorial service will be Saturday, June 16, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Kolola Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Don Harding officiaing. Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory College St. location is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Dunlap was born September 4, 1937, in Union County, MS, to the late Omia Franklin and Katie Lee McCord Dunlap. He served in the United States Air Force for 22 years and retired as an Air Force mechanic. Mr. Dunlap was a member of the VFW and lived in the Kolola Springs Community for many years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elsa Marie Helf Dunlap, and 5 siblings.
Survivors include his sons, Danny Michael Dunlap and William David Dunlap, both of Belmont, MS, daughter, Lolo Paulette Dunlap Scoggins of Gainsville, GA, 6 siblings, 10 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
