Charles Francis “Chuck” Arndt, age 69 passed away peacefully Thursday, June 28, 2018 at his home in the Steens Community. Services will be held Monday, July 02, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Gunter Peel College St Chapel with Pastor Kenny Gardner officiating, burial with U.S. Army Honors will follow at Egger Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday July 1, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
Chuck was born on Thursday, October 07, 1948 in Camp Lejeune, NC to the late Charles Casper and Sarah Groves Arndt. He was a member of Border Springs Baptist Church and a U.S. Army Veteran having served in the Viet Nam War. Chuck attended Caledonia High School and received an Associate Degree from East Mississippi Community College in air conditioning and refrigeration. He worked most of his life as a carpenter and enjoyed fishing and hunting and going to auctions.
