Charles Lowell Hughes age 85, died Monday, July 02, 2018 at Noland Hospital in Tuscaloosa AL. Services will be held Thursday, July 05, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Gunter Peel College Street Chapel with Rev. Tim Lee officiating, burial will follow at Beersheba Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the College Street location.

Mr. Hughes was born on Tuesday, February 07, 1933 in Columbus, MS to the late Charles G. and Clarice Westbrook Hughes. He was a member of Beersheba Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He served in the Mississippi National Guard 31st Division during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Hughes retired in 1996 from Omnova Solutions after 25 years of employment, after retirement he was self-employed as a wall paper hanger.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Fuqua Hughes and his son Thomas Lowell Hughes.
