Loventrice Swindol

Loventrice Williams Swindol, age 99, of Montevallo, AL, formerly of Columbus, MS, passed away October 19, 2018, at her residence. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at 12:00 PM at Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory College St. location with Pastors Rusty Hosmer and Terry Hosmer officiating. The graveside committal will be at 2:00 PM at Pleasant Ridge Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Hamilton, AL. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.
Mrs. Swindol was born May 28, 1919, in Lamar County, AL, to the late Robert and Pemellon Frances Edwards Lawson. Mrs. Swindol enjoyed cooking, gardening, and dancing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, James W. Williams and Marvin Swindol, and brothers, Bobby, Robert, and Charles Williams.
Survivors include her son, Doug Williams of Columbus, MS, daughters-in-law, Deb Williams of Columbus, MS, and Ruth Ann Williams of Michigan, IN, 24 grandchildren, and 28 great grandchildren.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
